MUNCHIQUETTE
Welcome
to the Watford Munch. We would just like to give you some background information
on what to expect on possibly your first trip in the fetish world. There are
currently lots of munches scattered all around the United Kingdom, making
the fetish scene extremely accessible. Munches are an easy and fun way to
enter onto the scene, but it is important that you are aware of the etiquette
that will be extended to you, and in turn you should extend to others.
A munch is somewhere to meet new people with a common interest, make new friends
and immerse yourself in a new social circle - a bit like going down the local
for a drink with your mates, only these are your kinky mates. If you view
a munch as a pick up joint you will be very sadly disappointed. A munch is
a non-play social event, normally in vanilla clothing unless otherwise stated.
People who attend expecting a Roman orgy
come once, and are never seen again. If this is what you expect from a munch,
maybe the Watford Munch isn’t for you.
A munch is like any other social event open to the general public. You get
some tall, some short (like Evie) some shy, some witty, but very occasionally
you may have someone who is not willing to follow munch etiquette. The difference
between a crowded vanilla pub in a town centre and a munch, is that a munch
is monitored. We appreciate that nobody likes to make a scene, but If anyone
were to give you any unwanted attention, we would appreciate it if you would
let us know immediately. We can’t actually do anything to police etiquette
if we find out about incidents 3 months later, with very little in the way
of details.
At the Watford Munch we are very fortunate to have very supportive landlords
that enable us to dress as we please. If you feel you want to come to the
munch in a full rubber catsuit, or simply wear a collar you are more than
welcome to do so. However, it is unacceptable to have full frontal nudity,
exposing genitalia. Although we do not allow any BDSM play or bondage at a
munch, we do permit decorative rope bondage. We do not allow “Hard selling”
of club tickets or BDSM equipment. However, promoters are welcome to place
flyers on tables and these are accessible to everyone. We do exercise a little
common sense on this; if you approach a promoter, craftsman or a Pro-Dom/me
for a ticket or a business card, fair enough. If you receive any unwanted
attention whatsoever, either overtly flirtatious or commercial, please let
us know immediately. The
taking of photographs is not permitted at the Watford Munch, unless with prior
agreement with the organisers.
Please come along to our event, and above all remember, it’s all about EVERYONE
having fun!
